Sonoma Valley Adult Day Program Overview

Why a Day Program?

A Better Way to Support Aging at Home

Many older adults benefit from more connections and structure than they often get at home. A day program offers stimulation, companionship, and professional care without requiring a move to assisted living.

Caregivers gain balance and an opportunity to rest and recharge. Participants gain belonging. Here, each day is active. It’s about living well today, characterized by laughter, movement, and genuine connection.

Creative Programs

Our activities are designed to engage the mind, body, and heart, turning ordinary moments into opportunities for meaning and joy.

Memory Jar

“They may forget what you said, but they’ll never forget how you made them feel.”

Participants capture moments of joy, gratitude, and laughter in a shared jar. A simple yet powerful reminder of connection and belonging.

Music Appreciation

Familiar songs open doors to joy, calm, and memory. Music sessions lift spirits, ease anxiety, and bring people together through shared rhythm and nostalgia.

Art Therapy

Through painting, drawing, or crafting, participants express feelings that words can’t always capture; fostering calm, confidence, and self-expression.

Personal, Professional Care

Our trained team understands the needs of older adults, including those living with dementia or physical limitations.

Each participant’s journey begins with a personal assessment so we can learn their routines, preferences, and abilities.

Families receive transparent communication and ongoing support, because we believe caregiving works best when it’s done together.
